Dr. Dilek Barlas,
Vice President of Engineering

Dr. Barlas oversees Kenet’s engineering efforts, from strategic product planning and product development to deploying best-practice design techniques and design-for-manufacturing methodologies. He has been involved for over 30 years in semiconductor technology development and ASIC mass production for the commercial and defense communications markets.

Prior to joining Kenet, Dr. Barlas held the position of VP of IC design for Magnolia Broadband, and was responsible for the company’s design, testing and commercialization of its DiversityPlus mobile technology. Prior to his position at Magnolia, he was the chief technology officer at Communicant Semiconductor AG, which served a variety of wireless communications markets. Dr. Barlas has also held senior management positions with TriQuint Semiconductor, M/A-COM Semiconductor Business Unit, and ST-Microsonic.
