Director of Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Conceptual design, architectural partitioning between analog and digital signal processing, and interface definition between major blocks (e.g., AFE, DSP, MAC, firmware, and external components) associated with 10G Ethernet PHY
- Participate in the transceiver systems specification of a high-speed communication integrated circuit with emphasis on the analog and mixed signal portion of the solution
- Develop behavioral simulations and author system specifications
- Develop signal processing techniques to mitigate non-idealities in the AFE
- Manage PHY development project. Work with and support the chip designers during the physical design phase of a project
- Participate in pre silicon verification, post silicon validation and specification conformance
